Rapper Rod Wave releases studio album ahead of nationwide tour

Rapper and Florida artist Rod Wave drops another album ahead of his state wide tour “ The Last Lap tour” The rapper has had a almost flawless run in the music industry since his emergence in 2019 with his first studio album “Ghetto Gospel “. Since that album putting out so much work, almost making it inevitable to not hear the rapper in your ears. The artist has released six studio albums, five mixtapes, one extended play and fourty seven (yes 47 singles). An impressive catalog for an artist thats only 6 years out. “ Last Lap” was released October 11th 2024. The 25 track album that dives into the rapper’s emotions being one of the hottest in rap today and navigating his wealth and fame at age 25 and 26.

This is the 6th studio album released by the rapper, scoring major recognition with most of his projects going gold in the streets. Many saying through his music, the rapper is reaching the real world  and giving a voice to the struggle and understanding in the everyday ghettos of today. The artist has amassed a total of three number one albums and six number one spots of Billboard hot 100 hip hop charts. The artist has dominated with a number one album from 2021 till 2023, cementing his place as one of raps lead talents today . With Soulfly , Beautiful Mind and Nostalgia all going number one and letting the world know who Rod Wave is and his sound. Rod Wave is the only rapper that has had a platinum album from 2019 until 2023 with Nostalgia certified Gold November 2023 with lead single being a huge hit “ Fight The Feeling”.



With so much music and such a lengthy catalog the rapper has build a cult following and a unique sound of his own. Atlanta Rapper Pluto releases her second studio album.

  The 21 year old Atlanta native has made her mark in southern rap and the club scene all together in a short time. Emerging on the music scene with single “ WHAM WHAMIEE ” featuring YK Niece. Released as lead single on her first studio album, “ BOTH WAYS ” on June 20th 2025 with the song quickly becoming the song of the summer.   Initially dropping the single only on tik tok, Jada Smith now known as Pluto has kept the momentum going with another album drop with plenty of features just months after her first.  PLUTO WORLD  was released October 10, 2025 with features from Quavo , Nardo Wick, Real Boston Richey, Sexy Redd and more.   Rapper Kanye West sits down with podcaster Justin LaBoy on his show The Download on February 4th, 2025 to discuss many topics including his upcoming June 2025 release “Bully”. His eleventh studio album. In the interview speaking on where he is as an artist, the creation of his next project and even the on going beef between industry heavyweights Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
